Wagner earns United East Track Athlete of the Week
LATHAM, N.Y. --- Carlow University women’s outdoor track & field athlete Molly Wagner earned United East Conference Track Athlete of the Week honors, the league announced Tuesday.
LATHAM, N.Y. --- Carlow University women's outdoor track & field athlete Molly Wagner earned United East Conference Track Athlete of the Week honors, the league announced Tuesday.
Wagner, a graduate student from Pleasant Hills, Pa., topped the United East outdoor charts in a pair of events to kick off the spring season at the Marty Pushkin Invitational held by West Virginia University Saturday. Wagner ran 26.91 in the 200 which placed her seventh out 22 runners and first amongst Division III competitors. In the 100, the sprinter timed a 12.98 which led all Division III runners and earned her ninth out of 30. Wagner also took part in the fourth place 4x100 relay team which posted a time of 51.68.
This is Wagner's fourth United East Player of the Week honor this year (indoor and outdoor).
Carlow competes at the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational March 28 and 29.
