Alexander named USCAA Division I Player of the Week

FULL RELEASE

PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University women's volleyball setter Meghan Alexander earned USCAA Division I Player of the Week honors, the association announced Tuesday.

The senior from Harrison City, Pa. recorded her 1,000th career assist at the USCAA Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Penn State Beaver this past weekend.

Behind Alexander's 76 assists, Carlow went 4-0 to win its second consecutive tip-off tournament championship.

The Celtics return to action this even with a road match at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
