Perkins named USCAA Women's Volleyball Division I Specialist of the Week
PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University women's volleyball senior Javonna Perkins was named the USCAA Division I Specialist of the Week, the association announced Tuesday.
Perkins, a middle hitter from Pittsburgh, Pa., led the Celtics at the net with six blocks in two games on the week. She also tallied seven kills and three digs, as Carlow went 0-2 against conference opponents.
Perkins is second on the team with 43 total blocks and third on the team with 167 total kills so far this season.
Carlow travels to Pitt Greensburg tonight for a 7 p.m. AMCC match.
