Humberston earns Women’s Volleyball its first AMCC Player of the Week award
NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. --- Carlow University women's volleyball outside hitter Alison Humberston earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors, the league announced Monday.
Humberston, a junior from Uniontown, Pa., led the Celtics to a 2-0 week in conference action.
She tallied 34 kills, averaging 4.24 kills per set and a .250 hitting percentage while also recording four blocks. She had 36.5 points over the course of two games for an average of 4.6 points per set.
The Celtics face Bay Path (Mass.) University at 11:30 a.m. for USCAA Championship pool play at Penn State Fayette Nov. 9.
