Women’s Volleyball sweeps Penn State Greater Allegheny in road match
MCKEESPORT, Pa. --- Carlow University women’s volleyball landed 15 aces in a 3-0 sweep of Penn State Greater Allegheny on the road Thursday night.

The Celtics (4-2) defeated the Lions 25-14, 26-24 and 25-13.
Sarah Porter (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway HS) led the team with four aces and three other Celtics contributed three apiece.
Rebecca Hess (New Alexandria, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic) led all hitters with 11 kills, and Kelsey Sufak (Allison Park, Pa./Deer Lakes HS) handled the defensive side with 11 digs.
The Celtics recorded 13 blocks and hit .286 as a team.
The Lions took Carlow to a win-by-two situation in the second set, but the Celtics came out on top.
Lillian Barker led Greater Allegheny with 10 kills, and Nimeira Timsah contributed 10 digs.
The Celtics make their way up to La Roche University for a tri-match Saturday.
