Women’s Volleyball sweeps USCAA weekly awards

Senior outside hitter Alison Humberston (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands HS) and junior defensive specialist/libero Kelsey Sufak (Allison Park, Pa./Deer Lakes HS) earned player and specialist of the week, respectively.
Humberston averaged 3.50 kills per set in four games as the Celtics (4-4) went 1-3 on the week in nonconference action. She tallied a season-high 20 kills in the 3-1 loss to Bethany at the La Roche University quad match Sept. 14.
Sufak averaged 4.57 digs per set this week and recorded a career-high 21 digs against Bethany. She also tallied 10 service aces on the week.
Carlow returns to action with a 6 p.m. match against Washington & Jefferson College tonight.
