Hess earns third USCAA Women’s Volleyball Specialist of the Week honor

PITTSBURGH --- For the third time this season, Carlow University women’s volleyball junior Rebecca Hess earned USCAA Specialist of the Week, the association announced Wednesday.

PITTSBURGH --- For the third time this season, Carlow University women's volleyball junior Rebecca Hess earned USCAA Specialist of the Week, the association announced Wednesday.

Hess, an outside hitter from New Alexandria, Pa., recorded 42 digs as Carlow went 1-1 on the week.

The Celtics took Alfred State to a 33-31 third set to open conference action with a 3-0 loss, and Hess led the team with 13 kills in the match.

The Celtics host Penn State Altoona for a 7 p.m. "Pink Out" match Oct. 22.
