Women’s Cross Country places two in top-10 at Roaring Lions Invitational

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. --- Two Carlow University women’s cross country runners placed in the top-10 at the Penn State Fayette Roaring Lions Invitational Saturday afternoon.

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. --- Two Carlow University women's cross country runners placed in the top-10 at the Penn State Fayette Roaring Lions Invitational Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Laci Schwirian led the Celtics with her second eighth place finish this season, running the 6k course in 27:03.70.

Ella Cloak came in 10th place with a 27:34.70 finish, and Katelyn Stivers placed 16th with a time of 29:28.10.

Penn State Fayette's Chloe Kalp garnered the individual title with a first place finish of 25:26.40, while Potomac State College took home the team trophy with four finishers in the top-10.

The Celtics travel to Mount Aloysius College for an invitational Sept. 30.
