Women’s Cross Country competes at USCAA National Championship

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. --- Carlow University women's cross country competed in the USCCA Championship to conclude the 2023 season Sunday.

The 6k race was hosted by Penn State Fayette.

Laci Schwirian led Carow with a 17th place finish out of 53 runners with a time of 27:13.3, followed by Ella Cloak who crossed the line at 28:38.4.

Claire Stevens ran a personal best 6k time of 30:55.2 for the Celtics.

Savannah Kuhr ran 23:44.5 to win the individual title for State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF), leading her team to victory with a score of 23. SUNY-ESF claimed seven of the top-10 finishes in the race with an average time of 25:18.
